I need help with a Magellan GPS 3100. It is several years old.?

It will not work now even if I charge it. Is there a battery inside that I need to replace? Like in a cell phone. It started giving wrong info and kept cutting out. I took it in to charge it but it won't charge at all. I don't want to replace it if I can get it to work again.
