I just purchase a used Magellan GPS Sport Trak Pro and it came with a Map Send CD but no serial number to install it. Ok I'm 14 years old and recently ive been feeling insane and .I'm going to try and explain this the best way I can.Ive been diagnosed with ADD,Deppresion,and Anxiety yea I deal with alot of demons day by day and the Deppression and the Anxiety are the worst ones.My doctor prescribed me Lexapro and Stratera well when I first started taking the stratera I was feelIng great for the first week or two and then it started to make my Anxiety worse like I started feeling extremely nervious around everyone including my younger brother which is odd because me and him where close and like best friends. And then a couple of days later the nervouse feelIng on the stratera went away and I actually feelt more social around others and my family and I was happy and thus decreasing the Deppresion i felt like I gad hope again. The Lexapro dident have a good or bad effect on me. A few weeks later the nervous feeling came back and still hasent went away I'm feeling nervous around everyone including my family. I would not be concerned about it if it wasn't effecting my relationship with my family, but it is and I'm scared that me and my family won't be close again because my nervousness . What's going on with me is it just all in my head? I'm worried.I'm not on the stratera right now and I still feel the same! Could it just be my depression causing me to lose intrest to the people care about the most or is it the Anxiety? Ughhh I need answers so I can have some peace of mind again. :(

Magellan RoadMate 1470 and TomTom One 130 - Which has better features, ease of use, etc. why?

I have 3 Tom Toms 2 Magellan's and 4 Garmins in my trucks. I find the Magellan to be slower than the Toms. The Garmins will not work where the Magellan will and the toms kick out when they want. Sorry . I ca`nt be much more help. I will stay with my Garmins. Besides, how fast are you driving that you need to know where to turn in 15 seconds? They all work fine. If you expect lightning fast response then you are looking for something in the $hundreds or more.Even my 80`s hand held Garmin still gets me out of the bush if I need it ( unless the batteries die).

What is the chance that my portable Magellan Crossover GPS unit can be repaired or work again?

The unit has been used very little, even though it's about four years old. It was working fine on a cross-country trip last month when it stopped functioning in central Texas. Now it won't go past the Warning/Disclaimer page when you turn on the power. It does this when using the power adapter plugged into the cigarette lighter, the built-in battery after it's been fully charged, or the A/C power adapter indoors. I'm guessing that it's toast and that it would cost almost as much to repair the unit than it would to buy a new one. I'm thinking of buying an iPhone anyway, which has a GPS feature. I know it's not the best GPS available, but it will probably be sufficient for my needs. I welcome all answers or suggestions.

It was a full moon, I did research because I was so curious to see if it worked. If you play on a full moon it's said that all the spirits are out wandering around, if u light a wax candle it makes it even better. I couldn't sleep at night, I was scarred as hell! The worst incident that happened was when I feel asleep, I felt half asleep and I could see my surrounding, WEIRD, anyways I saw something and I could feel a presence coming towards me fast as hell. I couldn't move and I knew it was going to jump on me whatever it was, I SCREAMED SO LOUD THAT I WOKE UP EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE. My dad and everyone where surrounding me and shaking me, it took me a couple of seconds, or minutes to wake up and realize that they were around me. I will never play that game again! Help with understand the features of a handheld GPS?

I have a bit more pricey model the garmin gpsmap 60cx, its a few seasons old now but it is doing fantastic. I use it hiking, fishing, hunting and geocacheing. You should be able to go "online" and examine the working features of your new unit, Magellan is pretty good at backing up their products. Some of the same features that are used in geocacheing are the same for "way point" marking and it should also have tracking features. What I am not sure is if you have a preloaded map, if it doesn't trade it in for one that does since that is the most important feature of a GPS system.

My life has been taken over by this terrible entity. The power in it is incredibly strong and it wants to kill my 2 year old daughter the obsession it has in her is terrifying to me. About 3 years ago I bought a Magellan Roadmate 1200 on clearance for $25. It was a great deal and I have been quite happy with this gps. But now the maps are getting quite out of date and it could really use an update. On the Magellan website the 2010 update costs $80! The short answer is that paperless caching is not possible without premium membership. The paperless info is in the .gpx files, and they are only available to premium members. Sorry, can't address the eXplorist GC since I use a different type (but I do cache paperless). I don't know how being a premium member is a large downside - it's only $30/yr and it helps to keep the site running and up to date.
